Development of School Libraries : Yangon Region Chief Minister attends the event

A ceremony for the development of school libraries and promotion of reading habit was held at No.1 Basic Education High School in Shwepyitha Township of Yangon Region on Thursday.

The event was organized by the Yangon Regional Government in cooperation with the Information and Public Relations Department and the Basic Education Department. Chief Minister U Soe Thein attended the event and delivered an opening speech.

During the ceremony, prizes were awarded to students for their reading and artistic achievements. The event featured various exhibitions, including book displays, photo exhibitions, and educational booths. Students participated in art, essay writing, speech, and reading competitions. The event also included musical performances by students, showcasing their talents and the importance of education.
