Departure to Russia: SAC Chairman to attend the 7th Eastern Economic Forum

Myanmar High-Level delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday to attend the 7th Eastern Economic Forum -2022 in Russia Federation at the invitation of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

The Prime Minister was accompanied by the SAC members U Maung Har and U Saw Daniel, Joint-Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo and union level personnel, senior military officials from the Commander-in-Chief (Army) Office, Deputy Ministers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Information and officials from the military and civil sectors.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will attend the 7th Eastern Economic Forum, meet with the officials from the Russian Government and make a study tour to the prominent places, universities, factories and workshops in Russia.

The delegation members will also hold a working meeting with the officials from respective sectors, with the aims for promoting friendship between the two governments and its people and strengthening the collaboration in economic and various sectors.

Myanmar delegation arrived at Vladivostok International Airport in the evening, and they were welcomed by the Deputy Governor of Vladivostok, and officials, the Myanmar Ambassador to Russia, the military attaché, the Director General of the Protocol Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and officials.
