Departmental Meeting: Discussions on MSME, agriculture, electricity, construction

Bago Region Government on Tuesday held the region’s departmental meeting (9/2022) at its office.

The meeting began with Chief Minister U MyoSwe Win explaining the guidance by Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister for development of MSME enterprises.

Regarding agriculture sector, the Chief Minister stressed matters including that it is necessary to properly record the rivers that do not dry up in the summer, to plan in advance to supply water for agriculture through the solar system, to continue green manure cultivation and to produce value-added products with local products.

Concerning regional development, plans are also underway to provide electricity to villages by solar system. He also called on concerned officials to complete and monitor construction projects in a timely manner.

Also, attendees reported on strong and weak points of the departments’ work processes and construction plans, and the Chief Minister coordinated the reports.
