On Monday night, the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) delivered its sixth C919 aircraft to China Eastern Airlines.

This new jet conducted a ferry flight from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport on Tuesday morning. Celebrating its one-year anniversary of commercial operation, the C919 marks China's maiden venture into large passenger aircraft, inaugurating its commercial service on May 28, 2023.

Since its commercial debut, the C919 has operated on three routes, and with the delivery of this new batch, China Eastern aims to bolster its C919 fleet to 10 by year-end, signaling further growth and integration of this domestically produced aircraft.
