Delhi hosts National Defense Industries Conclave 2026, focus on advanced defense technology

India's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the National Defense Industries Conclave 2026 in New Delhi on Thursday. The event focused on advanced manufacturing technologies and strengthening India’s defence production ecosystem.

The two-day conclave at the Manekshaw Centre aims to strengthen the integration of Micro, Small  and Medium Enterprises into defense manufacturing. It also aims to promote adoption of advanced technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence, robotics, and smart materials.

The initiative aligns with the vision of Aatmanirbharta in defense, and seeks to enhance India’s technological capability and global competitiveness in defense production.
