At the school operated by the charity Deaf Reachin Pakistan, students are taught sign language in both English and Urdu before advancing to the national curriculum. Each individual is assigned a sign name, often reflective of a physical attribute.

Younger students are instructed using visual aid, associating words and signs with corresponding images. Their classmates signal a wrong answer with a thumbs-down gesture and express approval with the applause sign—twisting their hands—for a correct response.Top of Form
