Data Analysis Training: Aims To Conduct The Auditing Applying IT

The opening ceremony of Data Analysis Training 1/2022 for conducting IT Audit was held at the Office of the Auditor-General of the Union in Nay Pyi Taw on 22 June.

At the ceremony, Union Auditor-General Prof DrKanZaw delivered an address, saying that this training aims to conduct the auditing applying IT because Governmental Departments and Organizations keep their large volume of monetary and accounting transactions applying IT and the time and staff are limited for the conduct of auditing manually.

The Union Minister urged the trainees to learn the lectures properly, retrain staff at their offices and apply in field works for the development of OAG in future.

Two from the Head Office and twelve from the Auditor-General’s Offices of Bago, Yangon, and Magway Regions, totalling fourteen, would attend the training designed to be theoretical and practical from 22nd to 29th June 2022 for seven days. Similarly, the Union Auditor-General also gave a speech at the annual general meeting of the Cooperative Credit Society Limited of the Office of the Auditor-General of the Union on the same day.
