







Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko inspected the Myanmar-Korea friendship school in No (8) Ward of Hlaingthaya Township of Yangon Region on Monday.
During the inspection, the Union Minister highlighted the conducting of cultural course, basic Abhidhamma courses and teacher training courses before the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2019.
He also stressed the need to reopen the training courses as the infection rate declines and conduct repair work on school buildings where necessary.
On the same day, the Union Minister attended the discussion on the history of Pyu Era and contiguous history of Myanmar held at the National Museum (Yangon). Member of the Myanmar Historical Commission U Thein Hlaing reported on the Pyu era history (draft).
The Union Minister said the purpose of the discussion is to make a documentary film by combining the work of experts, member of Myanmar Historical commission for each history and researches of the Department of Archaeology and National Museum.
Attendees discussed the history of Pyu era (draft) and the Department of Archaeology and National Museum reported on the final researches, lab tests of international labs and calculation of age.
The discussion is set to be held till June 22. The additional facts will be revised in the discussions for the second time.
