Cultural Exchange Performance: SSPC Chairman and wife attended the performance

The performance titled "Great Russia and Siberia" by the Novosibirsk "Chaldony" State Song and Dance Ensemble from the Novosibirsk Region of the Russian Federation was held in the afternoon on November 4, at the Myanmar International Convention Center (1) in Nay Pyi Taw.

The Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, attended and watched the performance. First, the honorary performance titled "Great Russia and Siberia" was opened with the playing of the national anthems of both countries.

Subsequently, the Acting President SSPC Chairman delivered a welcome address, extending a warm and friendly greeting to all present for the performance to be presented by the renowned "Chaldony" State Song and Dance Ensemble from the Novosibirsk Region of the Russian Federation. Following this, the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region gave a response speech.

Afterwards, the Acting President and SSPC Chairman and his wife, along with other attendees, watched and enjoyed the performances presented by the artists of the Novosibirsk "Chaldony" State Song and Dance Ensemble and the artists from the Department of Fine Arts under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture. During the performances, the artists from the Novosibirsk "Chaldony" State Song and Dance Ensemble, harmoniously blending vocal, dance, and musical arts, presented Russian folk songs and Siberian regional music and songs based on rich classical and traditional forms, with captivating and dynamic movements.

Furthermore, after performing a song titled "Bread is everything," the artists from the Novosibirsk "Chaldony" State Song and Dance Ensemble, expressing gratitude for the hospitality and friendship, and wishing to share warmth and joy, performed a traditional Russian ritual of hospitality by presenting bread and salt to the Acting President and SSPC Chairman and his wife.

After the performance, the Acting President and SSPC Chairman and his wife presented commemorative bouquets to the artists of the Novosibirsk "Chaldony" State Song and Dance Ensemble. Similarly, the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region presented commemorative bouquets to the artists from the Department of Fine Arts under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture.

Subsequently, the Acting President and SSPC Chairman and the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region exchanged cultural commemorative gifts. The performance concluded successfully after the artists from the Novosibirsk "Chaldony" State Song and Dance Ensemble performed a specially created "Lattee ” song for the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
