Cultural Exchange : K-Pop stars bid farewell after Thingyan celebrations

Korean K-Pop artists departed Yangon on Sunday after participating in Myanmar traditional Thingyan Water Festival. The K-pop artists arrived in Yangon on April 12, and during their visit, the group performed at festival pandals across Yangon, Nay Pyi Taw, and Mandalay, entertaining crowds with vibrant shows.

They also toured Yangon City, visiting the prominent places including Lawka Chantha Abaya Laba Muni Buddha Image in Mindama Hill and the meditation center in Thanlyin Township, offering basic foodstuff and pastries. Their visit highlighted a unique cultural exchange, blending the festive spirit of Myanmar’s New Year with the energy of K-Pop.
