CSTD-2022: Conference on Science and Technology Development

With the aim to support science and technologies by Tatmadaw and human resource development, the Conference on Science and Technology Development-2022 (CSTD-2022) was held on Thursday at the Defence Services Academy of Pyin Oo Lwin Station in line with COVID-19 guidelines.

Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye gave an opening speech at the event and observed the display of 23 posters of science and technology. The 2 papers of invited professors and 63 research papers of science and technology, altogether 65 were read out.

The CSTD-2022 will be held on 28th October and 2 papers of invited professors and 56 research papers of science and technology will be read out and 7 the best paper awards and 2 the best poster awards will be presented.

The Conference on Science and Technology Development has been held annually since 2016 and the conference could not be held in 2020 due to COVID-19 and it was also held in 2021 in line with COVID-19 rules and regulations and this conference is the 6th Conference.
