Creating Job Opportunities: Plumbing course conducted in Myitkyina

The Work Committee to Eliminate Child Labour of Kachin State Government, the State Level Job Opportunities Creating Working Sub-Committee and the Department of Labour jointly conducted plumbing course at the indoor stadium of Public Sports ground in Myitkyina on Tuesday.

At the event, Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan said that the vocational trainings are being opened to get job opportunities and the trainees will have job opportunities in the practicial field while learning any subject.

Deputy Minister for Labour U Win Shein said that the course aimed for creating job employmets in agriculture, industry and productivity industries, getting family income and improving socio-economic life.

He called for obtaining skill recognition certificates while learning the vocational education.The Job Opportunities Creating Working Sub-Committe conducted a total of 6 vocational training courses to 175 local ethnic people during 2021-2022 fiancial year and the Mini Budget year of 2022-2023 fiscal year.

Similarly, the basic welding course will be conducted in Puta-O on 8th December. Later, the Chief Minister and party inspects traditional clothes weaving by machine and hand weaving looms at the small domestic weaving factory in Myitkyina and asked about sending to the market and investment condition and coordinated with concerned departments to provide for boosting productivities.
