Covid-19 Vaccine Donation: China Donates 1 Million Sinovac Vaccine For 5 Border Towns

The People's Republic of China makes continuous donation of COVID-19 vaccines for Myanmar.

On the 11th of January, the Chinese Government donated 1 million doses of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine to Myanmar for 5 Myanmar-China border towns along with a ceremony at the Yunnan Province Disease Prevention and Control Center. There, aim of the donation was explained by a Chinese official and Myanmar side expressed words of thanks. The donated vaccine transport began on the same day, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
