Arriving at Minsk of Belarus: Myanmar delegation arrived at Minsk of Belarus

At the invitation of Ms. Natalya Kochanova, the Speaker of the Council of the Republic, the upper house of the National Assembly of Belarus, a delegation led by U Aung Lin Dwe, the Speaker of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and the Speaker of the Amyotha Hluttaw, departed by air via Thailand and arrived at Minsk International Airport in Belarus at 9:50 AM local time on October 20.

The delegation led by the Speaker of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw was welcomed at the airport by Mr. Igor Brylevich, Deputy Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Mr. Sergei Aleinik, Chairperson of the Standing Commission on International Affairs and National Security of the National Assembly, U Maung Maung Soe, Myanmar Ambassador to Belarus and responsible officials.

In the afternoon, the delegation led by the Speaker of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw visited and studied the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Nesvizh."

The museum was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2005 and has 15 exhibition halls displaying over 24,000 heritage artifacts.

In addition, within the museum grounds are the Nesvizh Town Hall, the historic Slutsk Gate, and five historic parks (Castle Park, Old Park, Japanese Park, English Park, and Marysin-New Park), covering an area of over 240 acres, it’s learnt.
