COVID-19 Vaccination: Chief Minister attends work coordination meeting

A work coordination meeting on coverage of covidshield in Chin State and vaccination plans for civil servants and family members who have not been vaccinated was held at the State Government Office in Hakha on Monday.

At the meeting, Chin State Chief Minister U Ngun Zan Aung said that according to the 5-point Road Map of the State Administration Council, the Covid-19 control and containment measures are being accelerated and called for completion of COVID-19 vaccination for the people, civil servants, families and out of school children within the targeted time and reporting plans by respective townships in Chin State for vaccinating the rest of vaccines before expired date.

The director of Chin State Government office reported on the list of availability, usage and the rest of Covidshield vaccines, formation of vaccinating groups, setting the number of people to be vaccinated against the Covishield on a daily basis and detailed plans.

Departmental officials attending the meeting also reported arrangements for COViD-19 vaccination for civil servants and their family members who have not been vaccinated. In response to the reports, the Chief Minister coordinated essentials.
