COVID-19 Update: 94 New Cases with 1 Death Reported on September 1

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 94 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing 8,439 patients within 24 hours.
1 COVID-19 positive patient died due to the disease while 37 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 615,315 with 19,439 deaths and 593,652 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Korea, Italy, Russian Federation and Japan, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:04pm CEST, 1 September 2022, there have been over 600 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.47 million deaths.
