
The Ministry of Health reported 924 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 19,145 lab specimens within 24 hours. 22 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 1,754 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 495,898 with 18,582 deaths and 460,224 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 45.10 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, The United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Turkey, France, Islamic Republic of Iran, Argentina and Spain according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 4:52 p.m. Central European Summer Time on October 26th, 2021, there have been over 243.85 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 4.95 million deaths, reported to WHO.
