COVID-19 Update: 880 New Cases With 2 Deaths Reported on March 14

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 880 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 14,301 lab specimens within 24 hours.

2 patients have died due to the disease while 926 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 606,227 with 19,411 deaths and 558,736 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Argentina and Islamic Republic of Iran, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 4:22pm CET, 14 March 2022, there have been over 456 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.04 million deaths.
