COVID-19 Update: 877 New Cases Reported at 8 p.m. on November 1

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 877 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 19,217 patients within 24 hours. 17 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 1,529 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 500,950 with 18,714 deaths and 469,218 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Turkey, France, Iran, Argentina and Spain, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:04pm CET, 1 November 2021, there have been over 246 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 4.99 million deaths.
