COVID-19 Update: 84 new COVID-19 cases reported on September 2

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.
The Ministry reported 84 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 8,951 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 38 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 615,399 with 19,439 deaths and 593,690 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Korea, Italy, Russian Federation and Japan, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:33pm CEST, 2 September 2022, there have been over 601 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.47 million deaths.
