COVID-19 Update: 8 new COVID-19 cases reported on December 29

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 8 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing 4,137 patients within 24 hours.

At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 10 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 633,647 with 19,490 deaths and 608,288 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
