COVID-19 Update: 8 new COVID-19 cases reported on December 16

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 8 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Saturday after testing 5,852 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 23 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 633,551 with 19,488 deaths and 608,112 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
