COVID-19 Update: 752 New Cases Reported at 8 p.m. on October 31

The Ministry of Health reported 752 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Sunday after testing 17,084 lab specimens within 24 hours.

33 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 1,372 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 500,073 with 18,697 deaths and 467,689 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals. COVID-19 vaccine is being injected to those of priority groups in regions and states for prevention and control of the disease.

Up to 30th October, 2021, a total of 13,244,996 people have been vaccinated. Of them, 7,054,015 people have been vaccinated two times and 6,190,981 people once. Therefore, a total of 20,299, 011 doses of COVID-19 jabs have been vaccinated.

The Ministry of Health has given instructions for office/department staff and everyone’s active cooperation in following the COVID-19 preventive measures including reminders of staying safe and healthy during the pandemic.
