Covid-19 Update: 631 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On November 23

The Ministry of Health reported 631 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 26,839 lab specimens within 24 hours. 7 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 777 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 519,102 with 19,041 deaths and 492,558 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 47.43 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, The United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Turkey, France, Islamic Republic of Iran, Germany and Argentina according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:45 p.m. Central European Time on November 23rd, 2021, there have been over 257.46 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 5.15 million deaths, reported to WHO.

The Ministry of Health has given instructions for office/department staff and everyone’s active cooperation in following the COVID-19 preventive measures including reminders of staying safe and healthy during the pandemic.
