COVID-19 Update: 521 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On December 2

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 521 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing 21,188 patients within 24 hours. 9 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 698 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 523,346 with 19,120 deaths and 498,748 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Turkey, France, Iran, Germany and Argentina, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:51pm CET, 2 December 2021, there have been over 262 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 5.22 million deaths.
