
The Ministry of Health reported 4,434 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 14,457 lab specimens within 24 hours. 220 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 3,680 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 337,561 with 12,234 deaths and 253,313 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 35.65 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, Russian Federation, France, The United Kingdom, Turkey, Argentina, Colombia and Spain according to the World Health Organization.
Globally, as of 6:22 p.m. Central European Standard Time on August 10, 2021, there have been over 203.29 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 4.30 million deaths, reported to WHO.
