COVID-19 Update: 3,739 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On August 11

The Ministry of Health reported 3,739 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Wednesday after testing 13,767 lab specimens within 24 hours. 218 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 3,358 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 341,300 with 12,452 deaths and 256,671 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 35.65 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, Russian Federation, France, The United Kingdom, Turkey, Argentina, Colombia and Spain according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 6:22 p.m. Central European Standard Time on August 10, 2021, there have been over 203.29 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 4.30 million deaths, reported to WHO.
