COVID-19 Update: 350 New Cases Reported at 8 p.m. on November 28

The Ministry of Health reported 350 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Sunday after testing 18,877 lab specimens within 24 hours. 9 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 673 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 521,561 with 19,088 deaths and 496,081 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

COVID-19 vaccine is being injected to those of priority groups in regions and states for prevention and control of the disease. Up to 27th November, 2021, over 16 million people have been vaccinated. Of them, over 11 million people have been vaccinated two times and over 4 million people once.

Therefore, over 28 million doses of COVID-19 jabs have been vaccinated. The Ministry of Health has given instructions for office/department staff and everyone’s active cooperation in following the COVID-19 preventive measures including reminders of staying safe and healthy during the pandemic.
