Covid-19 Update: 299 New Cases With 1 Death Reported On September 13

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 299 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 11,191 patients within 24 hours.

At the time of the report, 1 patient has died due to the disease while 124 patients have recovered from the disease. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 617,355 with 19,443 deaths and 594,463 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and the Russian Federation, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:47pm CEST, 13 September 2022, there have been over 606 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.49 million deaths.
