COVID-19 Update: 284 new cases reported on October 17

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 284 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 10,981 patients within 24 hours.

At the time of the report, there’s one patient who died due to the disease while 228 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 628,861 with 19,471 deaths and 602,754 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
