COVID-19 Update: 255 new cases reported on October 16

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 255 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Sunday after testing 10,705 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 228 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 628,577 with 19,470 deaths and 602,534 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
