COVID-19 Update: 24 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On May. 20

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 24 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing 1,084 lab specimens within 24 hours with 12 COVID-19 positive patients have been discharged from hospitals on 20th of May. COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 143,183 with 132,148 COVID-19 patients discharged from the hospital until 8 p.m. on 20th of May.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 32.67 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, France, Turkey, Russian Federation, The United Kingdom, Italy, Germany and Spain according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 6:46 p.m. CEST on 20th of May 2021, there have been over 164.52 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 3.41 million deaths, reported to WHO.
