COVID-19 Update: 21 new COVID-19 cases reported on April 25

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 21 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 8,922patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 33patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 612,770with 19,434deaths and 591,666COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Republic of Korea, Italy and Turkey, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:22pm CEST, 25 April 2022, there have been over 507 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.22 million deaths.
