COVID-19 Update: 204 New COVID-19 Cases Reported on September 12

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 204 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 11,306 patients within 24 hours.

At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 59 patients have recovered from the disease.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 617,056 with 19,442 deaths and 594,339 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals. The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and the Russian Federation, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:01pm CEST, 12 September 2022, there have been over 605 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.49 million deaths.
