COVID-19 Update: 191 new COVID-19 cases reported on September 9

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 191 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 9,864 patients within 24 hours. Among the new cases, 16 cases are those who come from abroad and the rest 175 cases are the local transmissions, it’s stated.

At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 57 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 616,401 with 19,442 deaths and 594,128 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
