COVID-19 Update: 176 new COVID-19 cases reported on October 27

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 176 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing 10,198 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 210 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 631,235 with 19,480 deaths and 605,151 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, France, Germany, Brazil, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and Russian Federation, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 3:25pm CEST, 27 October 2022, there have been over 626 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.56 million deaths.
