COVID-19 Update: 158 new cases with 1 death reported on October 23

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 158 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Sunday after testing 8,553 patients within 24 hours.

At the time of the report, there’s a patient who died due to the disease while 251 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 630,603 with 19,476 deaths and 604,318 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
