COVID-19 Update: 157 new cases with 2 deaths reported on October 26

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 157 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Wednesday after testing 10,724 patients within 24 hours.
At the time of the report, there’re two patients who died due to the disease while 232 patients have recovered.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 631,059 with 19,480 deaths and 604,941 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, France, Germany, Brazil, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and Russian Federation, according to the World Health Organization.
Globally, as of 5:52pm CEST, 26 October 2022, there have been over 625 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.56 million deaths.
