COVID-19 Update: 15 New COVID-19 Cases Reported On April 26

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 15 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 8,284 lab specimens within 24 hours. 49 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. As of April 26th, confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 612,785 with 19,434deaths and 591,715 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Republic of Korea, Italy and Turkey, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 7:38 pm CEST on 26 April, there have been over 508 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.224 million deaths.
