COVID-19 Update: 146 new COVID-19 cases reported on September 6

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 146 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 9,432 patients within 24 hours. Among the new cases, 11 cases are those who come from abroad and the rest 135 cases are the local transmissions, it’s stated.

At the time of the report, there’s one patient who died due to the disease while 32 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 615,800 with 19,442 deaths and 593,848 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
