COVID-19 Update: 14 New COVID-19 Cases Reported on June 21

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 14 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 5,033 patients within 24 hours.
At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 5 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 613,508 with 19,434 deaths and 592,503COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals. The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Republic of Korea, Italy and Turkey, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:37pm CEST, 21 June 2022, there have been over 537 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.31 million deaths.
