COVID-19 Update: 14 new COVID-19 cases reported on July 15

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 14 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 4,846 patients within 24 hours while 12 patients have recovered. As of 15th July, confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 613,798 with 19,434 deaths and 592,712 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Republic of Korea, Russian Federation and Turkiye, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:46 pm CEST, 15thJuly, there have been over 557 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.358 million deaths.
