COVID-19 Update: 13 New COVID-19 Cases Reported On June 22

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 13 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Wednesday after testing 4,764 patients within 24 hours.

At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 12 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 613,521 with 19,434 deaths and 592,515 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Republic of Korea, Italy, Turkey, Spain and Viet Nam according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:40pm CEST, 22ndJune 2022, there have been over 538 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.32 million deaths.
