COVID-19 Update: 13 New COVID-19 Cases Reported On July 5

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 13new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 5,052 patients within 24 hours.

At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 3patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 613,672 with 19,434 deaths and 592,593 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals. The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Russian Federation, Republic of Korea and Turkey, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:52pm CEST, 5 July 2022, there have been over 547 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.33 million deaths.
