
The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 1,002 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing 22,731 patients within 24 hours.
22 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 1,539 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 503,981 with 18,766 deaths and 473,903 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
