Covid-19 Update: 1,002 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On November 4

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 1,002 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing 22,731 patients within 24 hours.

22 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 1,539 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 503,981 with 18,766 deaths and 473,903 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Turkey, France, Iran, Argentina and Spain, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:14pm CET, 4 November 2021, there have been over 247 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 5.02 million deaths.
