COVID-19 Update: 10 New Cases Reported at 8 p.m. on May 3

The Ministry of Health reported 10 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 7,856 lab specimens within 24 hours. 32 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals.

As of May 4th, confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 612,924 with 19,434 deaths and 591,879 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, the Republic of Korea, Italy and Turkey, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:46 pm CEST on 3rd May, there have been over 511 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.24 million deaths.
