COVID-19 Report: 21 New Cases With 3 Deaths at 8 p.m. on Feb. 9

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 21 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing a total of 2,928 lab specimens within 24 hours, 3 new deaths and 462 patients discharged from the hospitals on 9th February. COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 141,448 with 3,180 deaths and 128,437 patients discharged from the hospital until 8 p.m. on 9th February.

According to the World Health Organization Dashboard of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) as of 5:10 pm CET on 9th February, the World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 26.7 million confirmed cases followed by India with more than 10.8 million cases and Brazil with over 9.5 million confirmed cases.

The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Germany, Colombia and Argentina also include in high confirmed cases of COVID-19. Globally, there have been over 106 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 2.32 million deaths, according to the WHO report.
