COVID-19 Report: 1,863 New Cases Reported at 8 p.m. on July 2

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 1,863 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 9,146 lab specimens within 24 hours with 17 new deaths and 423 COVID-19 positive patients discharged from hospitals.

COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 161,210 with 3,364 deaths and 137,415 COVID patients discharged from the hospitals until 8 p.m. on July 2.

The public’s cooperation is requested to address wearing masks systematically when it comes to going outside, frequent washing hands and social distancing to control the spreading of COVID-19, MOHS instructions for office/department staff and everybody and every family’s active cooperation in the COVID-19 preventive measures including reminders of staying safe and healthy.
