COVID-19 Preventive Measures: Chin State CCERC Held Coordination Meeting

The Chin State Chief Miniser U Ngun San Aung gave a remark at the coordination meeting of the Chin State COVID-19 control and emergency response committee held at the state government office on May 11.

Speaking at the meeting, the chief minister said that the collective efforts of the religious organizations, civil society organizations, volunteer organizations and officials from the health department are needed to give vaccines for the people living in the rural and remote areas. The preparations should be carried out from this time to give school based vaccinations when the schools are reopened.

Next, the chairman of Hakha Township public healthcare committee, head officer of Chin State department of public health and medical service clarified the efforts for the vaccinations and future work plans, implementation of COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment, status of completing vaccinations, arrangements for the continuation of vaccination.

Next, the attendees discussed the preparations for the students to give vaccination and the arrangements for the vaccination. The discussions were supplemented by the state minister for economic affairs and state advocate general. Afterward, the Chief Minister and deputy commander of the North-West Command coordinated necessaries and the chief minister gave a speech of conclusion.
