Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein visited the Yoma Yeiktha COVID-19 treatment centre in Dagon Seikkan Township to inspect preparations for the COVID-19 treatment and control.
There, first, the Chief Minister heard reports on the COVID-19 infection rate in the Region, COVID-19 Vaccination Programme, quarantine programme for returnees from abroad, preparations for the COVID-19 treatment including oxygen supply and medicines.
In his response, the Chief Minister called on concerned officials to make the Center have a capacity of 300 patients as the COVID-19 infection rate has risen, to properly maintain oxygen machines and tanks, to ensure cleanliness of rooms and environment and security measures and to cooperate with relevant governmental departments. Also, the Chief Minister toured and inspected the Yoma Yeiktha COVID-19 treatment centre.
